Located in one of the most characteristic district of Turin: we are in the heart of the Baln, one of the largest and oldest second-hand markets in Europe, where trattorias and bars mingle with exhibitors of vintage objects creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Enviable location: just 200m from Porta Palazzo, the ideal point to explore the center and its wonders on foot! *LONG STAY ALLOWED* The 75 sqm apartment is located on the second floor of a building without elevator and is composed as follows: - Kitchenette equipped with gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, moka, traditional oven and microwave - Living room with French size sofa bed, a single bed, desk and TV - Bedroom with queen bed and built-in wardrobe - Toilet with wc, bidet and masonry shower box (one step to access it) - Small balconies in the living room and bedroom. Additional facilities available for the guests: UNLIMITED WIFI, independent heating, fan, washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board. Towels and linen are NOT included. The apartment is for the exclusive use of the guests during the stay. At the check-in we will need to record the data of each guest, as required by Italian law, and you will therefore be required to show a valid document. The keys will be collected in our office in via Filippo Juvarra 24 in Turin, from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 23.00. It will be possible to enter the apartment after 15:00. The office can be reached from Porta Susa Station (where all regional / intercity and high-speed trains stop and also the Sadem shuttle from the airport) in 5 minutes on foot. If you are traveling by car, you will find free places in front of the office where you can leave the car in order to collect the keys. It will be possible to leave your luggage in the office, collect the keys and access the apartment once cleaning is finished, by 3.00 pm. We will provide you with further instructions one week before check in. For those who take advantage of the self check-in, we will offer a welcome welcome kit. After 21, check-in directly at the apartment is possible with the following extra costs: - EUR 25 from 21:00 to 23:00 - EUR 30 from 23:00 to 00:00 - EUR 40 from 00:00 until 01:30 All requests for late arrivals are subject to confirmation by the property. The last possible check-in, even paying the supplement, is 01:30. The house is located in the center, in one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of Turin. We are in the heart of Baln, a historic flea market that houses antique dealers, artisans and collectors of value, but also simple hobbyists: we advise you to let yourself be fascinated by this market and take a pleasant walk among the Baln stalls and its rarities at bargain prices. Near the house you will find excellent restaurants and family-run Piedmontese trattorias - just to name a few: "Ristorante San Giors", "Trattoria Valenza", "Il Cortiletto" - and various places ideal for an outdoor aperitif. HOLDEN, the School of Storytelling & Performing Arts founded by Alessandro Baricco, is located in Piazza Borgo Dora. A short distance away are the Palatine Doors, ancient Roman walls of access to the city (then called Augusta Taurinorum), which lead to one of the most beautiful central squares and rich in monuments: Piazza Castello. This is where Palazzo Reale, the historic home of the Savoy family, is located, with the Royal Church of San Lorenzo, the Cathedral of San Giovanni which houses the Holy Shroud, the Armory, the Royal Library and the famous Regio Theater designed by the famous Turin architect Carlo Mollino. How to reach the apartment: From Porta Nuova Station: tram line 4 to the "Porta Palazzo Nord" stop, 250m from the apartment From Caselle Airport: you can take the shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes from the airport and reaches Porta Nuova station, or take a taxi. The flat is located just outside the ZTL area and can be reached by car.
