Are you looking for a special home in the heart of Florence? You're in the right place! The flat is located in the heart of Florence on the 3rd floor (US 4th) of a historical palace of the 19th Century which was built during the transformations when Florence was the capital of Italy (hidden)). The location is unbeatable, in the middle of all sights and activities and at the same time a very quiet flat. The street door is on vibrant via Roma, but the flat is on the backside of the building. The step-free Elevator is there for luggage, groceries, and those needing help after long sightseeing. Completely on one level, from the balcony, you will admire the beauty of the Renaissance while sipping a glass of Chianti. All major sights are around the corner: Baptistery, Duomo and Cupola, the newly re-opened Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. Michelangelo's masterpieces in Galleria dell'Accademia and Medici Chapels are 5 minutes away. Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Vecchio are a 3 minutes' walk. Continuing on Via Roma towards the river, the Old Bridge, Pitti Palace and Boboli Garden. The fabulous Santa Croce and Cappella dei Pazzi are 15 minutes away. Next door to the historic Caff Gilli and the 5-star Hotel Savoy. Surrounded by boutiques like Gucci, Prada, Emporio Armani. Right at the heart of all city celebrations, processions, flag-wavers, parades, best Christmas decorations and the oxen cart on Easter Sunday. The flat is bright, with double-height ceilings, large windows and wooden shutters. AIR CONDITIONED. 2 separate bedrooms. A larger than a queen bed in the master bedroom, two comfy twins that can be made up as a queen bed in the second bedroom. Spacious living room with a pullout sofa ( suitable for a child). The bathroom is comfortable with a large shower cabin with a marble floor and a small window for fresh air. WIFI is the best network in Italy. The small kitchen is separate from the living room and is fully equipped with a dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee machines and is stocked with salt and pepper, sugar, tea and organic olive oil WASHER and DRYER is on the larger balcony, where clothes can be hung on the traditional line or machine dried. Washing detergent is supplied. We are equipped with a crib and a baby chair for babies. Notes IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ PAYING ATTENTION -The lead guest must be over 21 years old and will be required to sign a lease agreement upon arrival. That is for insurance, fiscal and legal purposes. All guests are required to show a valid identity card upon check-in, if not, they will not be allowed to enter (due to Italian Police regulations). -for stays under 30 days TOURIST CITY TAX: Euro 4 per person per night (maximum 7 nights) of charge to be paid in cash upon arrival (4 per person) - Strictly no partying or loud noises. Please do not make too much noise when entering and leaving the flat in the evening and after 11 pm, as to respect our neighbors. - No outsiders allowed in the apartment without our approval, in order not to contravene the police regulations. - The final cleaning fee is intended as flat general cleaning. Keep the place reasonably clean and tidy and leave the kitchen cleaned (no dirty dishes and garbage leftover). If not, please note that additional costs will be charged. The entire apartment has been recently furnished by the owner in every detail and each room is equipped with air conditioning and flat-screen television. The choice of lighting and designer furniture reflects his personal taste and love of architecture and furnishing. Every detail has been taken care of by local craftsmen who have contributed to make this apartment unique. The presence on the main street of a supermarket 500 m away, wooden craftsmen and lamps, master goldsmiths, a book shop, design shops for the home, a butcher shop with fine meats, a baker 800 m away, one of the best Japanese restaurants in town, a French restaurant, a pleasant bar for aperitifs, the bus stop 200 m away and all this just a few steps from the center can only help for a practical stay. Within 5/15 minutes Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, The beautiful Uffizi, as well as the main shopping streets. For anyone who wants to spend a quiet stay, in an apartment equipped with every comfort, from the choice of linen, to the dishwasher, TV with an internet connection, WiFi, air conditioning and every need for the bathroom is welcome. Anyone who has a love of beautiful things, refinement, without encroaching on the sophisticated luxury, and appreciates modern architecture combined with the particularities of a historic building, will enjoy this stay. Neighborhood The apartment is located within Duomo district in Florences historic city centre. The Duomo area constitutes the very heart of Florence and the area takes its name from Brunelleschis magnificent dome on the wonderful Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral. The Duomo neighbourhood offers an array of beautiful historical buildings and superb piazzas including the Mercato di San Lorenzo, the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica, famous for its attractive cafes, patisserie shops, live music, street performers and caricature artists. Furthermore, the area is surrounded by the citys main cultural attractions, notably Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Bargello Palace and Casa Buonarroti, the former home of Michelangelo, not to mention the Uffizi Gallery and the museum dedicated to the citys cathedral Museo dell'Opera del Duomo. The area also has much to offer in terms of fine dining and exclusive boutique shopping. The top Italian fashion houses are located along Via Tornabuoni, Via Calzaiuoli and Via del Corso and include the famous names of Salvatore Ferragamo, Armani, Versace, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tiffany & Co. and many more.
