About this Home This 3-story, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom home provides the perfect escape from busy city life. Featuring two kitchens, and newly renovated bathrooms, this home has everything you need to truly relax. Located on the edge of Columbia Heights, you’re right next to the McMillan Reservoir and Howard University. As you enter the living room, you’ll find an orange accent sofa and TV for all your home entertainment needs. Decor accents such as floor plants and hand-picked wall art fill the space, along with a breakfast nook seating area. The bedrooms are split across the 3 floors and all feature their own unique, personal touches. Columbia Heights – is one of Washington D.C.'s most densely populated neighborhoods, renowned for its mix of regal and humble historic buildings. This neighborhood attracts a mix of creatives, young professionals, and outdoorsy types – thanks to its many leafy spots and nature reserves. Columbia Heights is also home to a large Hispanic population, and subsequently hosts the GALA Hispanic Theater and the Mexican Cultural Institute. For history, politics, and architecture buffs, the neighborhood's main street 16th Street is home to many embassies and international organizations. For a nature-filled outing be sure to stop by Meridian Hill Park, and when you are looking to head elsewhere, the Columbia Heights Metro station is an easy walk away. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities! To ensure it, we ask all our new members to complete a background and credit check and electronically sign a residency agreement. You'll need to share your ID and Social Security Number (for those in the US) with us. We'll shoot over the agreement after you book, and we kindly ask you to sign it quickly to guarantee your room. For your credit, we're looking for scores above 550-650, depending on your city and we'll need a clean criminal record too (this doesn't apply to DC). If you meet all the requirements, you will receive the agreement which you need to sign within 24 hours. We do not provide towels, linens, or other similar amenities.
