Description
Discover a comfortable and welcoming room in the vibrant and intercultural Barriera di Milano neighborhood, an area rich in history and local life. Developed in the late 19th century, this lively district is well-connected to the city center and offers a variety of shops, markets, and services, all within a multicultural environment. The apartment is located near the Casa del Quartiere (House of the Neighborhood), on the top floor of an early 20th-century building with traditional iron balconies through which you enter the flat ("casa di ringhiera"). It features a fully renovated, cozy, and well-organized space, including a kitchen, two double bedrooms—each with its own private bathroom—and a hallway serving as a utility and laundry area. One of the bedrooms is occupied by the owner of the apartment; the other, shown in the listing photos, is available for rent. The room is perfect for students or workers seeking comfort and convenience: it is equipped with a private bathroom, two single beds (90x200 cm each), an extendable desk, an armchair, a chair, a bedside table, a shoe rack, a hat rack, four lamps plus a chandelier, a fan, and a bin. Each guest is provided with two sets of sheets and pillowcases, three pillows (including one ergonomic), two duvets, two bedspreads, and six towels of various sizes. Once a week, by appointment with the tenant, a cleaning service for the room and bathroom is provided, which includes washing and changing the sheets and towels. Mattresses, pillows, and blankets are sanitized after each new occupant. Common areas, appliances, and kitchen utensils must be cleaned and tidied up after each use. During the winter months, the boiler is set to keep the house at 20°C during the daytime and 18°C at night. It is forbidden to touch the boiler and the electrical panel. The house is equipped with a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. Please notice: If the room is rented by two people, the additional expenses (electricity, gas, water, heating, condominium fees) will be increased by €50 per month.
