The apartment is on the 2nd floor of the house and consists of 2 levels. There are 6 rooms in the apartment, 3 on each level, and 2 bathrooms. The bathroom on the 1st level is with a shower, sink and toilet. Another bathroom is with toilet and sink only. This room is the largest and can accommodate 2 people. Every room door has a lock. The kitchen, bathrooms and hallway are shared by all tenants. In the room there is a bed/beds, closet, chair and desk with a lamp. The tenant is provided with a pillow and duvet. There are all the necessary things to cook in the kitchen, such as pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, kettle, microwave oven, etc. There is a washing machine in the kitchen as well as a vacuum cleaner, a fridge, and an iron. Bónus supermarket is right across the street, and main bus station is in 5 min walk. The house is in walking distance to: (hidden) University=2,5km University of Iceland=2,5 km UoI, Department of Education = 700m Iceland University of the Arts = 300m (department at Þverholt) Laugavegur, main shopping street = 400 m Budget supermarket Bónus = 50 m Main house rules No smoking in the apartment or stairway No guests overnight*. Keep quiet at night and respect your flatmates. Cleaning is according to schedule. *Visitor from abroad is allowed for a short stay( up to 1 week), visitor gets spare bed and pays 2000 ISK/day.
