Recently renovated, this 816-square-foot unit features brilliant hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, recessed lighting, newly remodeled bathrooms, large windows, and central heating. Cozy bedrooms provide plenty of closet space and enough room for queen-size beds and personal workspaces. Small but efficient, the eat-in kitchen comes fully equipped with new stainless appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. Both bathrooms feature beautiful wall and floor tiling and breath-taking walk-in showers. Considered one of New York’s hottest places to live, East Harlem is a lively and diverse neighborhood located near the heart of Manhattan. Popular due to the reasonable housing prices and proximity, this neighborhood is home to some of New York’s best Latin American and Caribbean cuisines, as well as famous street art and murals from artists such as Keith Haring and James De La Vega. With an active nightlife, walkable streets, and a median age of approximately 35, East Harlem is home to many families and young professionals, as well as college students who attend one of the nearby universities. East Harlem is an easily accessible, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with multiple transit stations along Lexington Avenue. Located on the fifth floor of a well-preserved, pre-war, elevator building, this apartment is just minutes away from Central Park and some of East Harlem’s most popular attractions, such as the Museum of the City of New York and Graffiti Hall of Fame. A five-minute walk will get you to 110th Street station for the 4 and 6 trains on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line. A seven-minute walk will get you to Central Park North station for the 2 and 3 trains on the IRT Broadway - Seventh Avenue Line. This smoke-free apartment comes equipped with WiFi, a large flat-screen TV, and a washer and dryer. Rooms can be furnished upon request. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities! To ensure it, we ask all our new members to complete a background and credit check and electronically sign a residency agreement. You'll need to share your ID and Social Security Number (for those in the US) with us. We'll shoot over the agreement after you book, and we kindly ask you to sign it quickly to guarantee your room. For your credit, we're looking for scores above 550-650, depending on your city and we'll need a clean criminal record too (this doesn't apply to DC). If you meet all the requirements, you will receive the agreement which you need to sign within 24 hours. We do not provide towels, linens, or other similar amenities.
