Additional apartment features include WiFi, a shared front porch, a covered rear deck, and a wall-mounted, flat-screen TV. You have the option of renting a single bedroom or this entire JFK/UMass unit if you are planning to move in with friends and family. Less than a mile from the University of Massachusetts Boston, this shared apartment is ideal for college students and faculty members that want to live within walking distance of the campus. Located approximately three miles south of Downtown Boston, this JFK/UMass home is also ideal for working professionals that don’t mind the short commute. Street parking is readily available along Newport Street for those that drive. If you prefer to utilize public transportation, a three-minute walk from the front porch of this lovely Boston home will get you to JFK/UMass station for trains on MBTA’s rapid transit and commuter rail lines. You can find an assortment of restaurants and retail stores along Dorchester Avenue.
