About this place Bright top-floor maisonette in a classic Viennese Altbau (period building) in the 20th district, available as a 7-month furnished sublet from September 2026 to March 2027 while we're traveling. The apartment is spread over two levels: Ground floor: open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with access to a 9.5 m2 mostly covered private terrace. Comfortable seating area, dining table for four. Upper floor: bedroom with double bed (160 cm), Pax wardrobe and desk; separate home office with large desk and pull-out sofa for guests. Sloped ceilings and skylights throughout — typical Viennese top-floor character. Equipment: Fully furnished with a mix of modern and vintage pieces Oak parquet flooring throughout Air conditioning (downstairs) Heating Wi-Fi 100 Mbit/s Fully equipped kitchen with cookware and tableware Dishwasher and washing machine Hifi system with record player Lift in the building (4th floor) The loft was built in 2000 with a partial renovation in 2021 (bathroom and WC). Location Quiet residential street in Brigittenau, a local and lived-in neighbourhood just north of Vienna's city centre. Friedensbrücke metro station is 4 minutes away on foot — putting you 5 minutes from the city centre, 15 minutes from the Vienna International Centre (UN City), and 15 minutes from Vienna Hauptbahnhof. Augarten park, the Donaukanal promenade, and the Donauinsel recreation area are all within walking or short cycling distance — great for runs, walks, or summer swims. Wallensteinstraße has bakeries, cafés, supermarkets and small restaurants for everyday life.
