Cozy studio with terrace in Duinoord family home Are you looking for a temporary place to stay in the Hague? This studio might be the perfect accommodation for you. The studio is conveniently located for work. The 1st Sweelinckstraat 28 is in the international zone, so the Peace Palace, Europol, Eurojust, OPCW and several multinational companies are a short bike ride away. Schiphol, Amsterdam and Rotterdam can easily be reached by public transport. Tram 3, tram 17 and bus 24 to Central station and tram 11 to Holland Spoor station stop around the corner. During your time off you will appreciate that the apartment is nearby several shopping streets, such as the Reinkenstraat and the Prins Hendrikstraat. You will find cafés and restaurants within walking distance. It is a ten minute bike ride to the beach and ten minutes the other way to the city centre. Lay out This L-shaped studio is at the fourth floor, right below the beams, which makes it particularly cozy. The kitchen has French doors that lead to a sunny roof-top terrace where you can enjoy a great view. The sitting/sleeping area has a Hemnes sofa-bed that can easily be turned into a double bed. All bed linens are provided. Sliding doors give way to the bathroom with two washing basins, a shower and a toilet. In 2013 the house was made more energy efficient. The solar water boiler and heat recovery system are located behind the door next to the kitchen. The kitchen and living area have beautiful solid wooden floors that need to be kept dry. We are living in the same building on the first floors. We are sharing the laundry machine and the dryer, the stairs and front door. All linens are provided (bed, bath and kitchen). In the contract we will arrange the provision of utilities. This will make the total to be paid 1600 euros per month. We are looking for someone who will be staying in the Hague between 31 days and 4 months for an internship or research assignment.
