The location Cool, stylish, freshly renovated apartment (22sqm) in the heart of the capital with many attractions in walking distance in a quiet old building. Public transport is the best with many metro, bus, tram lines. Super connections to the Airport, and the main railwaiy stations. The apartment is situated in an 120-year-old, typical Budapest building (which unfortunately is pending some paint refreshment in ground floor and lacking a lift), in the neighbourhood called the Palace Quartier, on a walking distance (5-10 minutes) to Danube and landmarks like Váci utca (shopping street), the Nagycsarnok (Central Market Hall), National Museum or Synagogue. The apartment is located in a residential building where many other neighbours live and have a day time life. If the main reason you come to Budapest is to go out and party, I suggest you find another property. In the building on common corridor cctv can be operating. For those environmentally-concerned travellers, during the reconstruction, the biggest part of the debris was either re used (bricks, tiles), up-cycled (iron beams and trusses, pipes) or recycled. The rest was disposed according to the regulations. Construction materials were acquired locally favouring greener ones (low CO2 cement, PVC free pipes, etc) Public transport is available right on the front door, Metro lines are under 200 meters. Airport bus (100E) is under 200 meters the cheapest way to reach the airport! Even BUD airport recently opened a city check in and drop off hall (for some airlines, more coming soon) Important Information: On top of the rent, you will also need to pay the common cost ("közös költség") - this is shown as the ‘Other’ cost in the price breakdown. In Budapest, this is a monthly fee paid by tenants to cover shared building expenses like cleaning, maintenance, lighting, water & garbage collection services.
