This is an ideal location if you are looking to stay close to universities such as FAUP - Faculdade de Arquitetura, FLUP - Faculdade de Letras and FCUP - Faculdade de Ciências and the blue line metro station. Cedofeita is the trendiest neighborhood in Porto right now and it certainly deserves this recognition. It has a strategic location, close enough to the city's most important monuments and nightlife area, yet far enough to guarantee a good night of sleep. It is the artistic district of Porto, because of the art galleries on Rua Miguel Bombarda. It also has some amazing designed stores in the surrounding streets, mainly on Rua do Rosário. On Rua de Cedofeita there are many traditional shops, as well as good restaurants and bars, such as O Consulado, O Catraio and Bao’s.
