About this Home Bright and beautiful with touches of modern luxury, this three-bedroom, two-bathroom shared apartment in East Harlem is a perfect home for a group of college roommates or working professionals who are moving into one of Manhattan’s hottest neighborhoods. At 915-square-feet, this first-floor unit comes fully loaded with radiator heating, sturdy hardwood floors, high ceilings, recessed lighting, exposed brick walls, large windows for lots of natural light, and a washer and dryer. A newly remodeled kitchen comes fully loaded with modern stainless appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave, white countertops, and plenty of cabinets for storage. All three bedrooms offer closets, windows, and adequate space for queen-size beds and additional furniture. Just north of Manhattan’s posh Upper East Side neighborhood, East Harlem is a slightly more affordable but no less bustling area that borders the world-famous New York City attraction, Central Park. Often referred to as “El Barrio” by its local inhabitants, East Harlem is a colorful and exciting neighborhood to live in due to its walkable streets, amazing Latin American cuisine, and vibrant murals sprinkled throughout this growing area. The influence of Puerto Rican culture is hard to miss in East Harlem and is at least partially responsible for the unique atmosphere and overall community involvement you see here.
