This cozy flat is the perfect medley between rich history and modern interiors. The entrance leads you up a few steps into the hall from where you have the living room to your left, the bathroom straight ahead and the kitchen to you right. The bedroom is accessed via the living room. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed and the sofa in the living room can transform into a bed to accommodate a further 2 guests. The living room is split into a lounge including a 50” LED Smart TV and the dining area which allows hosting meals for 6 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Next to the shower and the sink, the bathroom also features a towel heater and a washing machine. The impressive ceiling height of 4.2 meters allows for a comfortable climate all year round. The building was constructed in 1875 by Prince Ernst Ferdinand of Windisch-Graetz as his Viennese Palais. He eventually passed it on to his son Prince Otto who in 1902 married Archduchess Elisabeth Marie of Habsburg-Lothringen, granddaughter of the legendary Empress Sissi of Austria and daughter to Rudolf the crown prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The couple lived in this building together with their four children for several years. The apartment is in the heart of Vienna's diplomatic quarter and just short walk to the first district and the subway stations at Stadtpark and Wien Mitte! All shops for daily needs such as supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, drug store, flower shop, etc. are just a short walk away. The immediate area has several restaurants, including Austria's #1 ranked restaurant "Steirereck" which ranked #18 in the world in 2023! Public Transport connectivity couldn't be better with U-Bahn Stadtpark (10 minute walk) and Wien Mitte (15 minute walk) just around the corner.
