Awaiting you is your own impeccably furnished Tuscan farm cottage that comfortably sleeps 2 persons in the charming guest cottage attached to the main house. Here, you will sleep well, far away from the maddening crowd, as the sounds of nature will lull you to sleep at night and the songs of the birds will awaken you every morning. The charming and cozy cottage with its private entrance is situated below the main house, in the garden. This is a perfect choice for a couple or a party of two . It’s also perfect for a person who needs a tranquil environment to create, working remote, writing, or artistic pursuits. The cottage has a lovely sleeping area complete with a wood burning stove. The bathroom is large, complete with its own washing machine, shower and bidet. The dining room area has a lovely round oak table that seats 4, and the kitchen is fully equipped and complete with a dishwasher, microwave and gas stove. All the rooms are beautifully furnished with hand crafted furniture and all the airy rooms have chestnut beams, stone walls, and face the garden. Housing Anywhere, calculates the rent, for a month’s stay however, if one wishes to stay nightly, there is a nightly rate of €150 a night which includes all utilities and Wi-Fi. Surrounding the farm house is a spacious garden with flowers, fruit and cypress trees, herbs and vegetables. A romantic bubbling fountain with lovely areas for sitting, reading, writing or painting is at your doorstep. Spend your days relaxing, leisurely swinging gently in the hammock or reading in the garden swing. We are located on the top of a mountain that overlooks beautiful scenic valleys and mountains of the Mugello. The area is filled with interesting wildlife and wild flowers, seasonal berries, all for your exploration and enjoyment. There are many country roads for hiking and biking right outside your door. The address of the house is at Poggio Al Sere which is located between the towns of Dicomano and San Godenzo off the state highway 67, near the little village of Corella. It is in the territory known as The Mugello, an area in northern Tuscany, 40 kilometers north of Florence. The area of Mugello is a wide, green valley crossed in parts by the Sieve River, one of the major rivers that flow into the Arno River, Tuscany's principal river. Dicomano, is the main town near our home and is a short 10 minute drive from the house. It is a charming little town with its local train station to take you to Florence and other charming hill towns for sightseeing as you wish. You will need a car for your visit in order to freely explore the beauty and history of this remarkable part of Tuscany. The Mugello is marked off in the north by the Tuscan-Emilia Romagna Apennines, in the south by the Monte Giovi peak and by Monte Senario and Monte Calvano in the west. The Mugello is striking because of its natural beauty and the diversity found in its landscape, which goes from rolling plains, to hills and to mountains. Mugello offers many interesting things to see and do which will please those who love nature and sports as well as those who are interested in the arts and culture of the area.
